On 24 September 2010 a meeting was called on the anti-Recon cooking oil issue which was held in the UMNO building in Negeri Sembilan. This meeting was led by Tunku Syed Razman Environmental Foundation in seeking support from the various governmental officers against all unscrupulous activities. The meeting was also attended by all local council officials adhering to this particular issue. The objectives of this meeting were to identify the used cooking oil collectors and companies, to find out the location of those illegal factories for further actions to be taken against them.Through this meeting the foundation has suggested to the local council do not issue any support letter for allowing those misusing the name Environmental Preservation to collect used cooking oil. This is including re-packaged “Recon” cooking oil, shower and cosmetic products.
